Once again Toluca will host its annual Bocce Ball Tournament over the Labor Day Weekend.  This tournament has been played annually in Toluca since World War II and 30 years ago was officially named the "Clitch Capponi Memorial Bocce Ball Tournament".
Bocce Ball --- a type of lawn bowling that was originated
in Italy, found its way to America early in the last century. 
The Toluca event is the largest in the state, and draws
contestants with ages ranging from eight to eighty.  Teams
are categorized - men, women, 13 year olds and under.
Cash prizes are Awarded.  Participants will need to bring
their own set of bocce balls.  Registration is $5 per player
